“If you understand the mechanism, the treatment is simple” – W.G. Sutherland
Osteopathy is a gentle and effective hands-on approach to health care, which recognises the important link between the structure of the body and the way that it functions. We focus on how your skeleton, joints, muscles, connective tissue, nerves, circulation, lymphatic and immune systems and internal organs function as an integral whole.
Osteopaths require commonwealth registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) after completing a minimum of 5 years’ university training in anatomy, physiology, pathology, general medical diagnosis and osteopathic techniques. Medicare Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Plans are also available after consultation with your GP.
